    SVAPO Indicator Error

I was trying to use this indicator developed by NinjaTrader_Jim on NT8, but got the error in the attached pic. What does it mean?

I then switch to a different time frame and it worked. I switch back to the original time frame and it also worked. So not sure why it gave the error in the first place?

    Hello tjendra,

    Thanks for informing us.

I am looking into this further and also testing older versions of NinjaTrader as we would have definitely noticed this when we sent it to Stocks and Commodities.

I'll let you know my findings when I have finished looking into this.

        Hello tjendra,

So this ended up being a mistake on my part where I was not following best practices. Previous versions of NinjaTrader were more lax about creating Series objects and indicators in State.Configure, when they should be created in State.DataLoaded.

I've attached a fixed version and have submitted changes to the User App Share.

Thanks again for bringing this up.

Jim, the file you attached is named "fetch".

              Hello caveat_lector,

My colleagues and I have tested and we don't have an issue downloading. The link is downloading the SVAPO.zip file for us.

Could you try clearing browser cache and downloading again?

The name shown in the Attached Files section of your post is SVAPO.zip, but Firefox downloads a file named fetch.

I cleared the browser cache, reloaded the page, downloaded again, and the downloaded file was still named fetch. However, I renamed fetch SVAPO.zip, successfully unzipped it, and its contents are correct. So, the correct file downloads, but its name is wrong.

                  Thanks,

I have seen the same thing when I tested with a new installation of FireFox.

I have let the IT department know so they are aware. I do not see this issue when I use Chrome.

The attached file location in the HTML script for this page is:
                    Code:
                    https://ninjatrader.com/support/forum/filedata/fetch?id=1105613
Which is why the web browser uses 'fetch' as the file name.

Firefox downloads files attached to other NT forum posts without that problem.
