Instrument Selector

Hello

In my indicator I am using Xceed for PropertyGrid.
Now I have a problem when time comes to enter text from keyboard on the PropertyGrid as the Instrument selector kicks in as soon as I enter text inside a chart.

Is there a way to stop the Ninja Trader Instrument selector event ?
Or what would be my alternatives to avoid this problem ?

Hello blar58,

You would need to handle the keypresses you want to observe by using the WPF PreviewKeys event. You can find a sample of using a textbox from the chart here: https://ninjatrader.com/support/foru...PreviewKeyDown

The chart by default already expects to handle key events for the shortcuts in the chart and also the instrument selector. If you need to use key events you have to go inbetween the chart and its events to gather what you need.
