Change BarWidth for specific bar only

Hi all,

I am building my own volume indicator based on the standard VOL.

Basically, I want to color specific bars in specific colors. For example high volume should show as a red volume bar / price bar. I am using the code below and it works fine.

if (Volume[0] > Percentile75Volume[0])
{
BarBrush = Brushes.Red;
PlotBrushes[0][0] = Brushes.Red;
}

Now, I would also like to make the bars a bit thicker. This however I cannot figure out. I found BarWidth but don't now how to make it work.

Adding BarWidth = 10 does return error CS0103 but I am not sure what that error message really tells me. Would you mind guiding me in the right direction please?

Hello pennywise,

You won't be able to control the individual bar widths from an Indicator but you could use a chart style of this kind of styling . There is actually a volume based chart style available on the public user app share: https://ninjatraderecosystem.com/user-app-share-download/equivolume-chart-style
