hiding indicator panel but still paint bars

I have an indicator that both has a separate panel and paints bars on the main chart panel.

I would like to implement the option to disable showing the panel bars but maintain painting the bars.

Could someone explain generally what I would need to do?

Thank you for your note.

You could use a bool to control behavior such as the attached indicator which will draw an arrow on the bar depending on whether the bool in the UI is set to true or false.

If you're objective is to be able to turn the panel on or off, this would not be possible however I could submit a feature request for this per your request.
