Data Series dialog on indicator

Good morning. I need to add a custom ISeries<double> to an indicator.

I've found a few examples on the forum that show how to do this for use within code, by instantiating the indicator's static constructor and passing in the series. This works great.

However when adding this to a chart, the indicator's properties do not produce the Data Series dialog to allow me to select a series from another indicator.

Is there any way I can have an ISeries<double> as a property on an indicator, and allow this to be selected from the indicator properties as shown in the screenshot?

Thanks for your post.

A public Series<double> can expose these values for scripts, but the Series will not be accessible through the UI. If you would like to expose a Series<T> that could be accessible throughout the UI, I would suggest adding a plot which will create a Series<double> that can be used in such a way.

From the Input Series window, you would then select the indicator and then select the plot to be used as the driving input series.

I've included publicly available documentation for AddPlot() below which demonstrates adding and using plots. You could use a transparent brush to hide the plot from the data box and on the chart.
