Defining template in ninjascript

Is there a means to define a template for drawing tools in ninjascript/indicator code then pass that template to the drawingtool that the indicator will be utilizing?

I know this was not a capability in NT7 but was told prior that it is a function in NT8.

Hello WHICKED,

In code typically the colors or properties of the object are set directly, no template needed.

However, there are not any methods to generate a template .xml file. (It is possible to write to file but would be a lot of work to try and recreate ninjatrader's template files)

It is possible to select a template if you create one by hand, by using the overload with string templateName.
