Is there a way to find average of values?

is there a function or method to plot the average of values for anything? For example if I want to see the average SMA value for the past 3 bars...? Is there something like SMA[0].avg(3) or something like this?

There is a not a ninjascript provided method.

You could perform this directly:

double myAverage = (SMA(20)[0] + SMA(20)[1] + SMA(20)[2]) / 3;
