Compiling with /unsafe (10 years on)

I am building some high performance indicators, as well as piping data to a C++ server. I need to use pointers. Is there any way I can get this working? I notice people asked about this as far back as 2009 - wondering/hoping this has been fixed/supported?

    Thanks,

    Nick.

I have figured out how to do it, but its a royal pain in the butt, unless there IS a way to support unsafe.

For the record, the very fact someone is asking about unsafe is suggestive that they are likely a programmer and know what they are doing. Please support unsafe with caveat emptor.

    Nick.

      Hello ptpatrader,

      Thank you for the post.

I just wanted to post to confirm that this is not supported. If you found a way to use it you can try to use that however we cannot assist in case problems arise in the platform from doing so.

Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

Thanks Jesse - as always, its disappointing.

Could you pass this on to the developers:

Could someone please do a MASSIVE review of all of the code in the Custom library - it has profound performance problems (profound!) that should never be in the code of a real-time, click trading application used for trading futures.

        Thanks,

        Nick.
