Net change indicator CFD for NT8

Please ...i need help about net change indicator that don't work on my new FXCM account.
Is there an indicator only to show daily net change that works for fxcm cfd instruments ??

Thanks for your post.

Net change is calculated from comparing the LastClose market data point to the last traded price. LastClose is not available with FXCM connections, so you may wish to consider using another Market Data Provider that will offer LastClose so you can use Net Change. For example, Kinetick offers LastClose, and Net Change can be calculated.

thanks Jim ......but ....if i use Kinetick data....how it works ??? if i have fxcm as broker ?? fxcm and kinetick have same data????

Hello Stevetrader,

FXCM and Kinetick connections are based on different technologies and the data is technically different as it comes from a different source. Kinetick is just a Market Data Provider service which can be used to give you supplemental data. You can connect to Kinetick for data and then connect to FXCM for trading with if you wish.

Thanks Jim ,but is unsual that i have to pay a different data provider ...when i paid lifetime nt8 licence ...and only i need to see a simple net change of CFD intrument...is something that i don't understand (if i don't consider money).

Hello Stevetrader,

A NinjaTrader license purchases the ability to place live trades and to use various features of the platform. A license does not buy a data feed which is needed for NinjaTrader to receive market data. Data is offered by your broker or a market data provider service.

Net Change requires a LastClose data point to be received from the market data feed in order to calculate. FXCM connections in NinjaTrader do not offer this.

Another option to consider would be to create an indicator that calculates Net Change in a different fashion either by comparing the plot value of the PriorDayOHLC indicator to the current market price or comparing the Close value of the last daily bar to the current market price.

To be honest, I don’t believe these indicators work. This is a very big risk and I doubt that artificial intelligence can analyze the market better than a trader with more than 5 years of experience. This is just silly and such signal sending programs would cost millions and not be so easy to buy. Think about it. I personally read about it on Fondex and there I learned about a new trading platform and I started working only with this platform. Who can share experience with her? Have you encountered any problems?
