    Error in Code

I took an existing indicator and made some changes and saved it under another name. When I compiled it, I got an error, "The namespace '<global namespace>' already contains a definition for 'LynxSeq'" with the Code: CS0101. What did I do wrong and how do I fix it.?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello dmking,

How did you make a copy of the script? Did you use the Right click -> save as?

The error is saying that the type LynxSeq is duplicated.

That would happen if you copied the whole file but only changed the Name = ""; part and left the class name the same. This can also happen if the indicator has extra classes, if you search the file for LynxSeq what does that bring up?

I look forward to being of further assistance.
