Sessionless EMA, SMA, etc

Hi,

I could probably figure out a way to do this, but don;t want to re-invent the wheel, so thought I would ask...

For some charts, say, 15min NQ, I would prefer the EMA/SMA, whatever, start from the first bar of the session. This is to cope with the inevitable gaps. The average is not much good until it's period has passed, otherwise.

Any suggested way to go about this? I am sure someone must have tackled this already?

You will need to make copies of these system indicators and in the copies set BarsRequiredToPlot to 1.

I'm interested in the same. I'm no programmer, but maybe I could be able to copy an indicator and do the tweak as suggested by NinjaTrader_ChelseaB

Not for me. I tried it, but maybe one of us misunderstood (probably me). I didn't manage to make avg's sessionless with this tweak.
