    help with updating drawing arrows

    so I can get the arrows to draw when my two lines cross on the MACD, but lets say they cross at one point during the bar's lifetime, the arrow draws, everything is fine... but then during the same bar the lines, macd and avg, uncross, and the bar closes with the lines not crossing. BUT my arrow is still now drawn on the chart. Is there a way to continuously have my arrows update?? Hopefully this is not too confusing... Thanks for any help. File attached.

    In this case you would continue to check the status of the lines crossing. If they become uncrossed you then need to RemoveDrawObject("ObjectName");

      Hello tvaughan4,

      Thanks for your question.

      eDanny's advise is the same as what we would recommend. The script calculates on price changes, and there may be a cross before the bar closes. When the bar closes, you could check for the cross again and to call RemoveDrawObject.

      To check when the bar has closed when using Calculate.OnPriceChange or OnEachTick, IsFirstTickOfBar can be used.

      IsFirstTickOfBar - https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...ttickofbar.htm

      RemoveDrawObject - https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...drawobject.htm

      We look forward to assisting.
