OrderFlow+ tools not available when disconnected from internet.

    OrderFlow+ tools not available when disconnected from internet.

    When developing I'm not always able to connect to the internet. Which is fine because I use the simulated connection, or replay connection while testing my code. But because NT can't do a license check the Orderflow+ tools are not available. Is there a way to have those available when not connected to the internet? I own two lifetime licenses.

    Thank you for your post.

    Unfortunately no, there would not be any method we could recommend to avoid the licensing check when offline. NInjaTrader has to be able to connect to the internet for that check to go through and Order Flow + items to be available for use.

      Hi Kate. Would it be possible to create an enhancement request? Perhaps cache the license verification for a period of 24 hours before it needs to be checked again.

        Thank you for your suggestion.

        I have created a feature request to cache the NinjaTrader license for 24 hours so Order Flow + tools may be used offline. This request is being tracked under the number SFT-4632.

        As with all feature requests, interest is tracked before implementation is considered, so we cannot offer an ETA or promise of fulfillment. If implemented, it will be noted in the Release Notes page of the Help Guide.

          I'd like to add my vote for this too. Frankly, I find it incredibly annoying that I sometimes cannot use the platform, when either there are issues with activation servers (weekends etc), or if I am travelling and without net access. For instance, stuck on ferry (boat) for 12 hours the other week. Cannot work..... A much better solution would be to cache the licensing status, so at least there is a grace, say at least several days, where the platform would continue to work before requiring contact again.
