Buy Sell Pressure indicator

Hi...I was wondering if there's another version of the BUYSellPressure indicator that doesnt disappear when restarting the chart or platform?

Thanks for your post.

The platform indicator Buy Sell Pressure (and Buy Sell Volume) are real time indicators so they do not show historical data and will only start showing data on real time bars.

If you have a data provider that provides Historical tick data, then you do have the option to enable tick replay for the chart and this tick replay will allow you to see historical data for those real time indicators. Tick replay will add a delay for the chart while it goes through and processes the indicator through the 1 tick historical data series that is added with tick replay.

If you have not used tick reply before then you will likely need to enable tick replay for the platform as by default it is turned off. To enable tick replay, go to Tools>Options>Market data and check the check box for "Show Tick replay". You will only need to do this once.

For the chart that you want to see historical values on the real time indicators, right mouse click on the chart and select "data series". In the "Data series" window, you should now see a check box labeled "Tick Replay" (this will be found now in all data series windows). Left click the check box to enable Tick Replay on that particular chart.

Any details on what exactly Buy/Sell Strength indicator is looking at or calculating? It seems to have good insight on the chart determining reversals when looking at previous bar before the reversal move.

The BuySellStrength indicator displays the difference between the bid volume and ask volume of the bar.
