    sounds

    Hello,
I have an indicator with two alerts that sound according to X conditions, but sometimes the two sounds coincide on the same bar and overlap and sound first sounds and cuts to the next one. Is there any way to sound one sound followed by another without overlapping?

    Thank you

    Hello anmir55,

    Thanks for your post.

You can enable Play Sounds Consecutively in the Control Center under Tools > Options > General > Sound > Play consecutively to control having alert sounds played one after the other or at the same time.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to help.

That option is for the sounds that ninjatrader has (Autro trail, connected, e tc ...) or are they for the sounds that I have in my indicator that it use " Alert" not PlaySound()..

        Hello anmir55,

This setting is for all sounds that are played through the the platform, including Alert() and PlaySound(). Checking it will ensure that each sound is played audibly after the other without overlapping.

You may set up a couple test indicators that fire Alert() or PlaySound() and apply them to the same chart to observe the behavior.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

hi support, "Play Sounds Consecutively" works well most of the time

however, there are times when it's big annoucement like fomc and i get so many alerts that play one after another

is there a way to clear the sound/alert queue with a button?

like i know there are 20-50 more audio alerts coming... but i want to just clear the queue and then have the NEW alerts come in playing one after another

if i use "disable all alerts" hot key, does it cancel all the queued sound alerts?

              Hello whats1thingnow,

              Thank you for your note.

At this time, there is no way to clear out the queued sounds. I have submitted this as a feature request to the development team and will follow up with an internal tracking number for your reference as soon as it is created.

              Thank you for your patience.
