Add DataSeries Instrument

AddDataSeries(Instrument.FullName);

I was wondering is there a way to have the insturment name always on the current month - year.

IE: NQ 03-20
when rollover happens it will automatically go to NQ 06-20
the data series will be different compared to the chart.

Hello ballboy11,

AddDataSeries currently has a few overloads that inherit the primary:

The following syntax will add another Bars object for the primary instrument of the script.
AddDataSeries(BarsPeriod barsPeriod)
AddDataSeries(BarsPeriodType periodType, int period)

Outside of those two uses you would need to specify the instrument as text. There is not currently a way to have AddDataSeries use variables or be dynamic.
