Plot indicators as OHLC Candles
Hello, is there a way to plot an indicator in OHLC candle style, the same way the OF Cumulative delta plots ? For example, I want to plot my RSI in this mode instead of a single line to know better when this indicator is leaving the overbought / oversold area, or for validating pullbacks to the 30 or 70 lines with candle patterns in RSI ...

Hello kevinfloresz,
Thanks for your post.
The RSI indicator will only produce 1 value per bar and an OHLC style would require 4 data points per bar. If you were able to generate 4 separate points then yes you can create a bar type display.
Alternatively, you can change the RSI plot's "PlotStyle" on the chart from "Line" to "Bar" which will give you a bar that starts at a zero value up to the RSI value. The RSI Plot Style selection is found when you open the "Plots" selection and then open the "RSI" selection in the indicator properties.

Hello NinjaTrader_PaulH, thanks for your response... The bar style is the same as the line style, it only have one value, with just a different appearance... I know RSI currently have just one value in all plotting styles, but if calculation is on each tick, then you can have the 4 OHLC values in real time, it could be nice if NT include this option in a future release, because it would be really useful to plot supports, resistances and trendlines on RSI or other similar indicators directly,Originally posted by NinjaTrader_PaulH View PostHello kevinfloresz,

Hello kevinfloresz,
Thanks for your reply.
I will create a feature request to be able to show the RSI as a bar type. Please note that a feature request does not mean the feature will be implemented and is a means for program management to track interest in such a feature. I will update this thread when i have further information.

Hello Hello kevinfloresz,
The feature request has been entered as SFT-4612, "Ability to plot indicators as an OHLC bar type".
Please note that a feature request does not mean the feature will be implemented. If implemented, it would be found in the release notes of the version it is first available in. The release notes for all versions can be found in the help guide, here is a link for your convenience: https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...ease_notes.htm
As an alternative you could always create this yourself in Ninjascript or hire a 3rd party programmer who could provide this service.
