Drawing, but not on the price panel

In the attached I have coded a custom indicator and a custom strategy that calls that indicator.

The indicator draws a line, but not on the price panel.

When I run the indicator on its own, it behaves as I expect. The line gets drawn successfully on the panel below price.

But when I call the indicator from within a strategy, the line is not drawn.

What do I need to do to draw the line when the indicator is called from a strategy?

Thank you for the post.

For this to work in a hosted setting, you would need to still call the indicator later in the script. I have attached a sample which has the indicator stored as a variable and then called from OnBarUpdate. Because the indicator has not Plots I used Update() to call the indicator, generally it would be suggested to call one of the Plots to have the indicators OnBarUpdate called.

Also to have the object appear in the indicators panel, you will need to use DrawOnPricePanel = false; in the indicator, if the intention was to look like the image. Your current sample has it set to true.
