Stoch RSI: Tradingview vs NT8

Hello everyone,

i'm trying to create a strategy here (pic attached) on NT8, the only problem is that the Stoch RSI indicator on the two platforms is different!

The strategy depends on K (blue line) to cross over D (orange line), in attached image.

My question is, why is this indicator different, and is there any way to have that exact same indicator on NT8 ?

Thanks for your post and welcome to the NInjaTrader Support Forum.

NT8's StochRSI indicator is the same as it was in NT7 and I am not certain why TradingView plots their StochRSI that way. If you wanted to you could certainly create an indicator in NT8 that looked like your screenshot, but it would require a little custom programming. Let me know if you would like more information on learning about how to program in NinjaScript.
