    MoveAnchorX example

    Please could you provide a simple example that moves an anchor to the right by one bar. From the documentation here:

    it is not clear what the role of chartControl and chartScale are for this simple use case.

    Hi ellington, thanks for your post.

    ChartControl and ChartScale are used within the internal calculation of point movement. It's typically used in the OnRender method where you have those objects available as parameters e.g.

    protected override void OnRender(ChartControl chartControl, ChartScale chartScale)

    To use MoveAnchorX() you are typically going to be within OnRender, you also need to convert the bar index to a x coordinate using GetXByBarIndex().

    With all this said, moving the drawing object one bar to the right would be more straight forward by simply re-drawing the tool with the updated parameters and the same tag name. This will remove the old object and draw the new one to the chart.
