trying to get a daily ema 1 on a 5 min chart of the same script, followed all the instructions but still no go. thanks in advance.

Thanks for your post.

In this case it appears that you want to place a 1 period EMA based on daily bars on a chart that also shows 5 minute bars. While this can be done, in the expanded view you are showing you would not see the plot until you bring in a 2nd daily bar. I've attached an example that shows the the EMA on the 5 minute bars from the daily bars. Note that I also set the indicator to Calculate.OnPriceChange to draw the EMA to the current bar on the 5 minute chart. Other requirements are that you have at least 20 daily bars loaded as the indicator will not draw until 20 bars are loaded.
