UpdateBar() in NT7 has an argument - open, which is absent in UpdateBar() in NT8.
What should be done, when converting to replicate that in NT8?
My custom bar uses the open argument in NT7 UpdateBar().

Any help is appreciated.

Hello Mukaddim,

If the custom bars type is based on one of the existing types, I would suggest looking at the new standard bars type in NT8 and how the original logic has changed. For a custom type that would depend on how the variable was being used as to how it would need to be converted. This is no longer part of the method signature so you would need to work around that. BarsTypes were not technically supported in NT7 so there are no specific guidelines in place for converting BarsTypes.

Thanks for your response. It is a custom renko bar and the suggestion you've made has been tried out.
The bar type works but not exactly the way it does in NT7, hence I needed to recheck where the logic
might have been mismatched, and found it probably the one mentioned in the earlier post. See if I can
find a way around.
