    Get time for a specific barIndex

    Hi,

    I saw in tutorial GetTimeByBarIndex. Is it possible to use it in OnRender?

    I would like to get only the time for a barIndex.

    I want to use it DrawTestFixed

    Draw.TextFixed(this,"Time", "Time: "+ ChartBars.GetTimeByBarIdx(ChartControl, foundIndex).ToString("N2"), TextPosition.TopLeft, Brushes.Lime, new SimpleFont("Courier New", 16), Brushes.Transparent, Brushes.Transparent, 10);

    Obviously its not N2, any tips?

    Ty

    Hello frankduc ,

    OnRender is where the Index based methods are used, this could be used in OnRender. Keep in mind OnRender is generally the only location that the direct bar indexes are used, OnBarUpdate and other events use BarsAgo.

    I see you are trying to use a ToString(), what is the question surrounding this?

    If you are not sure how to use the formatting with .ToString() and DateTime objects you can review this in more detail with MSDN: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dot...format-strings

    Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.
