Disable/enable Custom PropertyEditor based on another property

    Hello.

Not sure if I can post this problem here.

So we are using a custom property editor (from here: https://ninjatrader.com/support/foru...d.php?t=105991) and it's working exactly as we wanted. And now we want to be enabled/disable this property when another property is checked/unchecked.

We are currently using what's in here (https://ninjatrader.com/support/foru...ad.php?t=97919) to enable/disable non-custom properties in the indicator and they work fine.

The problem is the same method above does not seem to work with the custom property editor.

    Any help welcome.

    Thanks.

    Hello cmarkb,

    Thank you for the post.

I wanted to check, do you have a sample of what you are currently trying that you could provide? I am unsure of any existing information surrounding combining these two concepts specifically, I would very likely need to explore a sample to see if this would be expected or not.

I look forward to being of further assistance.

      Hi Jesse.

      Thanks for reply.

I've attached a test sample - TestPopupWindowIndicator and TestPopupWindow(addon). TestPopupWindow uses custom datatemplate.

What should happen is Normal Property is disabled by default and Toggle when checked will enable it. "Using Custom PropertyEditor" though is already enabled by default and unaffected by Toggle.

        Hello cmarkb,

Thank you for providing the sample.

I took a look and so far nothing sticks out as a solution here. I will need to investigate this in more detail to see if there is a way to have this also become disabled. Once I have further details I will reply back here.

I look forward to being of further assistance.

          Hi Jesse,

          Thanks for the reply.

We've gone with another way that doesn't involve disabling the property. We are still interested if there's a way in case in the future we might need it.

          Thanks again.
