    Superbansd pass from Jhon Ehlers

I have checked the super band pass for NT8 filter and it is not working. It plots 3 lines but two lines are missing and probably wrong. It will be perfect to have these indicator on NT8. Many thanks

The Super Pass Band Filter was published in the July 2016 Stocks and Commodities article titled The Super Pass Band Filter by John F. Ehlers.

    Hello marcara,

    Thank you for the post.

I checked the linked indicator however I can see it plotting 3 lines, have you tested this on other instruments and is there a specific setting you are using which causes this? From what I can see this is matching the NT7 indicator which it was converted from and is plotting all lines. I would need more specific details from your use case to be of further assistance here.

Are you currently comparing this to the NT7 version when you say the value may be incorrect? For a conversion we would only be looking at matching the nt7 version, if the overall NT7 indicator which this came from does not produce the calculation you wanted you may need to modify the indicator to better fit your needs.

I look forward to being of further assistance.

      Thanks Jesse,

I realized that the indicator plots differently the lines depending on how many data is loaded. If The day to load in the Data series properties is a big number like 100 days the the inidcatorplots all lines in the horizontal fifty line; If the number is smaller the it plots the three lines ... So, I guess it is no working propertly or I asm missing something.

      Thanks for your help

        Hello marcara,

        Thank you for the post.

I couldn't really say, this is a conversion from an NT7 item that was a conversion for the stocks and commodities magazine article. What is your expectation for the plots based on the logic the script has? You noted that the plots may be wrong previously, what are you basing that on or what are you comparing this against?

You can go through the calculation in the script to see what it is doing to compare it. I couldn't really comment on what the logic is trying to accomplish as I don't have the details the original developer did. If you are comparing this against another indicator in another platform, you would need to look and see if the calculation is identical to what the other indicator is doing.

I look forward to being of further assistance.
