from where to where does the opacity parameter vary for brush? from 0 to 1 or from 0 to 255?

Microsoft defines Windows Media Brush's Opacity property as follows.

The value of the Opacity property is expressed as a value between 0.0 and 1.0. The default value is 1.0.

As an example, the following could be used to adjust brush opacity, where OPACITY is an int between 0 and 100.

YourNewBrush.Opacity = OPACITY / 100.0;
YourNewBrush.Freeze();
