Indicator that displays the next Future contract

Hi Guys,

im looking for an indicator that automaticly displays the next future contract.
For example the current future is cl 11-19 and i want to automatically display cl 12-19. If i go back to for example cl 02-09 i want cl 03-09 displayed. Can you help me with that indicator?

Hi Branpo, thanks for your note.

Its requires user interface actions to roll over a contract in the NT database, since there are no methods to manipulate it in NinjaScript currently. Im not sure if such an indicator could exist.

Isnt it possible to import it as data and then display it?
something like: if current contract = cl 10-19 display cl 11-19?

Hello Branpo, thanks for your reply.

This could be done by creating an Addon. We have a development overview for addons as well as an example here. For a standard NT chart, the contract must be changed through the DataSeries menu, or by typing the new contract into the chart. Ill also submit a feature request to add the option to roll over contracts automatically.
