Indicator opens mini chart at the bottom

After I place my custom indicator on the chart it opens on the bottom somehing similar to another chart (please see attached image) which is not needed. My indicator does not have plots and I tried to set the value of "Overlay" both to true and false but it still exists.

On a related subjecct, I have another custom indicator which does have plots and it opens the same "mini chart" at the bottom which I don't need. The plots are drawn at that bottom part instead of my chart.

Hello kiss987,

The Overlay when set in Initialize() is only applied when the defaults are loaded.

Set Overlay to true, compile, then remove the indicator from the chart and add a new instance.
