Drawing indicator line one bar too late

Hi,

Apologies in advance, but I'd prefer not to post code in the forum for this one.

I was wondering if you could give me clues for what to look for in my code re. this symptom.

Please see attached pic. The indicator paints the line exactly as it is supposed to, on exactly the right bars. But it does it one bar too late. I want it to paint as soon as the trigger bar completes, not a full additional bar after that.

Thanks for your post.

With such little info provided all I could suggest is reviewing your code to see if you are drawing the line to the current bar (Bars ago of [0]).
You might add a debug type draw object that puts a dot on the chart when your trigger bar closes just to make sure you and the script are considering the same trigger bar.
Otherwise you can always resort to Print statements to print out the events as they happen.
