    Tick height

Is there a way to calculate the height of a tick without using TickSize in the OnRender method?

    Hello alexr,

    Thank you for your note.

Would you please provide more information on what you mean by the height of a tick?

I look forward to your reply.

faced with the situation when some suppliers of quotes do not give full information about the instruments. In particular, the size of the tick is not specified correctly.

        Hello Alexr,

The ticksize of an instrument is defined in the Instrument Manager as is the point value and would not be dependent on the data provider.

You could see ticksize section of our helpguide,

So I may best assist you, would you please provide more information on what you're looking to do?

I look forward to your reply.

I know all this. But I got a buyer from India and they have a couple of suppliers with their custom adapters. Tick size will return 0.01 at a time when the actual tick is 1.00, for example.

            Hello alexr,

You should define this in the instrument manager or confirm that the instrument is correctly defined.

            See editing instruments.

tnx for the advice, we'll try, but the decision is not systematic, it assumes certain actions on the part of the client.
