Paint background moving forward

Hi,
Is there any way to start painting the chart background a specific color moving forward when an indicator condition is met, or is this an OnRender() type of a solution? Thank you.

Thanks for opening the thread.

This can be accomplished by using BackBrush. Bars can have their background set historically with BackBrushes.

For all chart panels, BackBrushAll and BackBrushesAll can be used.

For anyone interested, this approach works well but is way too slow. Drawing via OnRender() gives much better performance.
