Indicator running on SuperDOM

Hi,

Because of required different behaviour, I want to conditionally do different things depending on it the indicator is running in a chart window or the superDOM.

Is there a way via the code to determine if the indie is running on the SuperDOM, or otherwise?

Thank you for your note.

There would be no supported method for determining whether an indicator was running via an Addon or Superdom however this could likely be accomplished.

There may be several ways to accomplish this but one which comes to mind would be two duplicate the indicator into indicatorDOM and indicatorChart. You would then create 2 public static variables in an Addon, indicatorDOMbool and indicatorChartbool. The indicatorDom when running would set indicatorDOMbool bool to true, when indicator indicatorChart is running indicatorChartbool would be set to true.

Then you could check the value of both variables to determine which are running.
The following example sets a bool inside a strategy via an addon, you would be doing the reverse in the suggested method above.
