Converting IsIntraday Condition to NT8

Not clear from the "Help", what is the conversion for the following NT7 if condition:

            if (!Data.BarsType.GetInstance(BarsPeriod).IsIntraday)

            {
                Do something
            }

Thanks for your post

That code is undocumented so there is not clear conversion from what I can see. Perhaps there is a different way to access this property in NT8. What is this code supposed to be doing?
