Dynamically change panel of indicator depending on input

I want that depending on specific custom input field of indicator, the code decided to place the indicator in separate panel or in main chart panel.
However, i am unable to achieve that, using `IsOverlay` property change in `State.Configure`.

    Any help?

Hello TazoTodua, Thank you for your post.

The help guide does claim to allow setting IsOverLay from State.Configure. I tried it out and I am only able to change the value from SetDefaults, so I will report this issue to our product management team.

Are there any updates on this to allow setting IsOverlay in Configure, Chris ???

        Hi ninZa,

We updated our documentation, it now states IsOverlay should only be set from State.SetDefaults:

        Kind regards,

Any update to possible have an programattic way to either put in main or below panel, depending the user-input? So, IsOverlay also worked from .Configure state.

              Hi ttodua, thanks for posting.

Our colleague Chelsea made an example on panel selection through NinjaScript:

This uses a boolean from the user input section to decide what panel to place the hosting indicator on.

              Best regards,
              -ChrisL
