When creating an external assembly for NT8 to load, what is the highest framework version that it can target?

The assembly would need to be version 4.5 to work with NinjaTrader 8

Is there any plan to update this? It would be really helpful if NT8 were compatible with netstandard2.0 ... So I'm thinking .net framework 4.7.1 or better would be awesome.
It can't be too hard to update the framework dependencies on the next version of NT8 ... can it be considered please?
