Need assistance with indi wav Alarm

Hey guys,

I got a really cool 3rd party type RSI indicator, but it does not have an audible alarm.

I am told that the NT8 platform can somehow alert me when the indi is overbought or oversold.

Can anyone assist. I need to use this for swing trading, so I want an audible alert on it.

Thanks for opening the thread.

If you are looking to add an alert to a NinjaScript in NinjaTrader 8, please see the Alert() method. This should be placed in a condition that checks if the your plot crosses above or below an over bought or over sold value.

You can also add an alert to the chart without having to modify the indicator's code. Please see the documentation on creating alerts from a chart below.

The first method you mentioned appears to be for coders only.

In regards to the second one, it is pretty complicated, I tried a few variations, but could not get it to work. All I want it to do is to wav file alert when the plot line touches or ab0ve 3.18 or -3.18.

However, can't figure out how to make it work. Do you have any step by step easy instructions, because the ones here:

If you have not viewed the instructional video in the help guide for configuring alerts, I would recommend having a look as it explains setting up Alerts through out the platform.
