Is copying allowed?

Hi guys,

There is a stock NinjaTrader indicator that I would like to add an EMA to and to do this I figure I need to add a plot to it. However when I go into the NinjaScript Editor I see a little padlock. It looks like I can copy the code and create a new indicator of my own then add the EMA I need but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to do this.

Just wanted to get some clarification before I do it. Am I allowed to?

Thank you for the post.

You can open up the locked script that you want to modify, right click the script>Save As. After that you can enter a new name for the script copy and NT will change the class name for you. You can then edit the new copy however you like
