Igtdsequential (augmenting code)

Hello,
long time lurker. First post.
I've been playing around with this indicator for awhile now and its pretty cool.
I am no hacker genius and the ninjascript editor on this is outta control.

Has anybody ever successfully added an alert to this? particularly at the reversal arrows.

It would be relatively simply to add an alert to this custom script. Would you be interested in trying to do this yourself or more interested in having someone program this for you?

Hi JoshG, this thread has gotten old, but tonight I am on this issue. I am trying to get a plot and trigger an order from the completed formation count, one for buy one for sell. I'm brand new to ninjascript, I have the indicator in NT8. Can you help direct me to the right place, or example code? Thanks

Thanks for your post.

What I would suggest is to add a plot to the indicator, set its color to transparent so that it does not change the display. In the OnBarUpdate() you would set the plot value to be 0 (zero) on each OnBarUpdate(). Where the condition is true that you are looking for you could then set the value to be +1 or perhaps -1 (for an opposite side signal). Then a strategy (or market analyzer) could read the transparent plot and take the actions you are interested in.
