Drawing from NinjaScript attaching object to chart

    Hi,
when creating a draw object (say within an indicator) the normal format is Draw.Rectangle(this,.... which of course attaches the DrawObject to the NinjaScript creating it.

However, user drawn objects are attached to the chart itself.
Is there a way to create a draw object from NinjaScript that attaches to the chart, and does not get deleted when the indicator (or whatever) is removed off the chart?

    Thanks,
    saltminer

    Hello saltminer,

At this time I am unaware of any exposed or documented way to do this, I will put in a feature request but at the moment any script drawn object would be locked to its parent so it can be removed/re-added as needed by the script.

    Feature tracking ID: SFT-2572

I look forward to being of further assistance.

        Hello Arkadiy_B,

I updated my prior post with the feature tracking ID for this request and have added another vote for this. At this time this would be a feature request.

I look forward to being of further assistance.
