Change color drawing objects quickly

There is any way to change the color of a drawing object quickly? I mean for exemple I draw a line or rectangle and I want to change the default color. In NT7 I needed to double click on it, and change the color in NT8 You need 2 click more because the color menu is hidden (collapse) and you need 1 click to show color menu and one more to change the color. There is anyway to do it quicker?


Suggestion:

It would be super nice if when you choose any option, for example. line, you can push "r" key and the line will be draw in red, and if you push "b" will be draw in blue, instead of first draw it and after change it throw the menu.

There is not currently a faster way to do that. I do see that this specific hotkey has already been requested, so I will have a vote added to that request on your behalf.
