calling built in indicators

Hi , calculate was set to OnBarClose , changing it to On each tick or on price change gives me the extra value for the latest price in the chart. Since i am only interested in the end of day data, I assumed the On Bar Close will be the correct one , not sure why the On Bar close will not be correct, unless NT is considering the next day is the close of the bar ??

Hello HighTrade,

When Calculate is On bar close, Close[0] refers to the most recent fully closed bar.

When Calculate is On each tick, Close[0] refers to the currently building bar.

I have connection to End of Day (Free) , and my indicator , is set for daily data, and the day is over, if I set the indicator calculate to On Bar Close, it misses the today's calculation. while setting it to each tick shows the data. ???!!

Thank you for your response.

The End Of Day feed will not close the current day until the next day closes, this is why you see the current day close with OnEachTick but not OnBarClose as the current day is not closed yet.
