    Executing a batch file

    Hello,

    I would like to execute a batch file as an alert. One of the goals is to pause market reply on a signal and play a sound. I can play a sound using

    NinjaTrader.Core.Globals.PlaySound(@"whateversound .wav");

    How can I run a batch command instead?

    Thanks!

    Hello TexFly,

    Executing a shell script is outside of what is supported by NinjaTrader Support staff. However, this thread will remain open for any community member that would like to assist.

    NinjaScripts are C#. You may want to search for executing shell commands in C#.

    You can also contact a professional NinjaScript Consultant who would be eager to create or modify this script at your request or assist you with your script. The NinjaTrader Ecosystem has affiliate contacts who provide educational as well as consulting services. Please let me know if you would like our business development follow up with you with a list of affiliate consultants who would be happy to create this script or any others at your request.
