added menus to the chart window menu

Hello, i am adding several System.Windows.Control.Menu() to the chart window menu.

I have 3 to 4 of these.

When i set each up initialising the Style and vertical alignment all works great including switching tabs where they may not be accessible if the indicator is not loaded on that tab.

However when i scrunch the chart to say a 1/4 of standard size - notably ninja creates a drop down in order to access the menu items - even all the standard ninja ones if is made very small.

The problem is one my own custom top level menus is not showing in the drop down list. so if i have 1 2 3 4 .... menu 1 does not appear in the drop down.

There is no difference between this and the others - except it is the first in the list along the top - currently i do not have a separator - do i need to create one prior to adding my menu items? Also this is the only one that does not have an icon defined. it only has a Heading set.

any ideas?

Hello soulfx,

Our colleague Chelsea has a sample script that demonstrates an ideal way to add menus to the top toolbar. I modified the example to add additional menus and I am not hitting issues when the window size shrinks. This modification is attached.

You will need to use an icon to have the menu items form correctly when the the chart is shrunk to the point where the menu items will no longer list on the tool bar.

In general what i have works very well. You confirmed what i suspected in that an icon will be needed to be added to this menu to facilitate when the chart and menu space has shrunk - all the others have icons. will try this and get back
