Change Symbol Description on disk

Good Morning:

How do I update the description for an instrument to the Ninjatrader 8 database via Ninjascript?

If i use the following it updates in memory and stays in memory until NT8 is closed, but when you re-open NT8 the description reverts back to whatever it was previously.

Example:

Symbol AABB is load into chart and description is blank in the Instrument Panel.

Execute the following
Instrument.MasterInstrument.Description = "This Text";

Look at Instruments and description shows This Text.

Once NT8 is closed and re-opened it is back to blank.

So how do I get the description to write to disk?

Hello TraderJesse,

Setting the instruments description through NinjaScript is not supported. I will put in a feature request for this.
