Loading historical data

Hello

After loading historical data (Tools -> Historical Data -> Import …) I need to shut down NT, and restart to get the newly loaded data to appear in a chart. It do not help to create a new chart window, still old data. A restart of NT is the only things that helps.

Is this a bug, or is there a reason for this? (It is very annoying to restart NT … )

Glad to assist. This would be unexpected, a restart is not normally needed to view imported historical data.

So we may test on our end, can you please write into to PlatformSupport[AT]NinjaTrader[DOT]Com with some sample data you are using, along with your log and trace files and a link to this forum post?


Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to your response so I may investigate this matter further.

* Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
* Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
* Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
* Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
