Formating Values in Property Grid

Is there a quick way to format the appearance of the values that appearin the Property Grid? For example, if I have an input that is a type double and set it to 2, it appears as 2 in the Property Grid. I would like it to appear as 2.0. I know how to do this via a TypeConverter but it seems an overkill for such a simple thing as this. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Use a non-browsable, dummy property, converting to and from string?

Thanks Koganam.That's a great idea and will probably work best. I don't really need the machinery of a TypeConverter for this.Will give it a go.
