Checking version remotely in indicator

Hi everyone:

I am looking to implement version checking in an indicator I am developing:

So people get's to know quickly when a new version is available. That is make the indicator contact my server to see if the version changed.

And I am looking forward to get information on how would be the best way to do this.

Thank you for your post.

NinjaScript would not have a solution for this in it's library. NinjaScript is based in C# which means you can use most libraries in C# development in NinjaScript. A C# solution for contacting a server is likely possible but we would not have details on such functionality.

Thanks for your reply. Maybe if I do a webrequest in a another thread. I tried to make in own thread during indicator configuration but it was problematic. Seems NinjaTrader doesn't likes too much delay there.
