Surprised NT8 does not support EMA settings for Keltner Channels.

Does anyone know if a version exists ?

Thanks for your post.

I am not aware of a public version of Keltner channel that is based on an EMA. In looking at the code it is a simple change of SMA to EMA so I have done that for you and have attached a zipped folder you can then import.

Here is a basic guideline of how to Import NinjaScripts.

To import NinjaScripts you will need the original .zip file.

To Import:

Download the NinjaScript to your desktop, keep them in the compressed .zip file.

From the Control Center window select the menu Tools>import>Ninjascript add-on..

Select the downloaded .zip file

NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.
Critical - Specifically for some NinjaScripts, it will prompt that you are running newer versions of @SMA, @EMA, etc. and ask if you want to replace, press 'No'

Once installed, you may add the indicator to a chart by:

Right click your chart > indicators > Select the Indicator from the list on the left > New > OK

Here is a version that supports over 30 different moving averages. The offset for the channel can be calculated as a multiple of the average range or a multiple of the average true range. The slope trend is exposed as public series and can be accessed via automated strategies.
