Vendor License API Hooks

Hi All,

We've developed an indicator and wanted to know if there was any way we can get and set the status of a user's license through an API. Are there any exposed hooks that we can consume to send a user's license validity via HTTP to an external source as well as trigger a change in the license (ex: end date)?

Or would we have to create our own ninja trader vendor license plugin?

Our end goal is to be able to automate the control of a user's "subscription" to the indicator without having to do it through the NinjaTrader application.

Welcome to the Support Forums.

There are not any documented methods I could point you to that would allow you to interact with the user's license.

It may be possible to "roll your own" functionality using methods and code that we do not support, but I would not be able to provide further assistance.

I would suggest to speak with your Business Development liaison for more information on the supported licensing and authentication offered.

I have devloped local license check for NT7 and NT8 Ninjascripts. Vendor has user interface in control center to generate license file with DSACryptoServiceProvider and private key.
License file is sent to customer for execution of local license check
