Displaying custom range in chart

Hi guys,

Is there any programmatic method of setting which bars get painted in the visible window?

Specifically, I want my chart to draw itself so that the right hand most bar displayed matches a specific timestamp.

So, for example, if I have 1,000 bars loaded in the chart I want the chart to display only the bars up to say bar 452 rather than the chart showing me the bars that fit in the window up to bar 1000, which is the default behaviour.

Thank you for your post.

You could set a certain number of bars back to transparent in an indicator for example. But those bars would still exist in memory. There is not a means to customize the DaysToLoad, BarsToLoad, or CustomRange in the Data Series menu.
